However, choosing a mattress is not all about picking the right brand. It takes a load off your mind to know that you are using a reliable brand but you also have to take everything in consideration.
Here is the deal: when you shop for a mattress from either Serta or Simmons or any other mattress for that matter, you may be faced with a list of mattress names gibberish. If the name alone does not confuse you, I don't know what will.

There are mattress shopping gurus out there that say these mattresses are just one and the same. They just change the name for anonymity's sake. If you must know, Serta has a bad reputation when it comes to customer service. That should clue you up on whether or not you will try their products. Remember that when you have already purchased your mattress, the customer sales representatives of the mattress company will be your new best friends. You need to know if you will have a shot of getting your money back or having a replacement mattress when something goes amiss with your mattress.
Simmons is a well-publicized and well-endorsed company. Their commercials are drilled in our heads. But let us cut the publicity and go straight to the essentials. There was a time when Simmons was bombarded with here and there sagging and mattress depression complaints with their beauty rest collection. Credits to them because they have integrated some new technologies that can get rid of this problem. But you still need to do your own research and find out if the mattress you want from them has more than good average satisfaction rating.
If 8 out of 10 people are not satisfied with either Serta or Simmons, chances are slim that you will also be satisfied with your purchase. Before sealing your purchase, do yourself a favor and look at the technology incorporated first and find out if it is really worth every cent you are going to pay for it.
